Xandy Peters is a knitting designer and teacher, best known as the innovator of the stacked stitch technique and for her Fox Paws pattern. Starting out as a footwear and product designer, Xandy turned to knitting as a way to explore textiles and surfaces without using factory production. She has since made a career out of knitting, publishing new patterns monthly and teaching workshops across the country. Xandy has been published in magazines such as Vogue Knitting, Twist Collective, Knitscene, and Knitty, but continues to self publish most of her work. Xandy also blogs about design, crafting, and baking on her blog, soimakestuff.com
Sunne Meyer
Sunne Meyer is a knitwear designer, teacher and all-around crafting enthusiast. With a passion for teaching, she enjoys nothing more than helping people learn something new and create something they’re proud of. You can often find her leading knitting classes at The Gathering Place and Fancy Tiger Crafts in Denver, specializing in Fair Isle and beginner techniques.
Tanis Gray
Tanis Gray is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and has been involved in the creative industry for many years. Having worked at Martha Stewart, Vogue Knitting and Knit.1, among others, she prefers to be tangled up in yarn and knitting whenever possible. Tanis is the author of eight knitting books and has 450 published knitting designs. Her work has also been featured in major publications worldwide. You may recognize Tanis from her regularly featured spot on Knitting Daily TV.
Sally Melville
In more than 50 years of knitting and 35 years of teaching, Sally Melville has taken hundreds of finished garments off her needles and taught hundreds of different classes. Today, she is the author of seven knitting books including Sally Melville Styles, The Knitting Experience series and Knitting Pattern Essentials. Her gift for making knitting simple, useful and fun has long made Sally a beloved instructor. Sally is dedicated to helping knitters make pieces they’ll be proud to show the world!
Anne Berk
Anne Berk is a knitting instructor and an optometric physician. She graduated from the The Knitting Guild of America’s Master Handknitting Program in 2003. Anne has designed for many yarn companies, including Blue Moon Fiber Arts and Simply Socks Yarn Company., and had her patterns and articles published in PieceWork, Sockupied, ColorKnits, Twist Collective and more. She is also the author of Annetarsia Knits: A New Link to Intarsia.
