Easter tea and macarons cake

We love working with tea themes and the cake above is definitely one of our favorites! The cheeky bunny peering over the cup is dripping with tea and the sweetly colored macarons makes this bunny themed cake the perfect springtime treat. Why not swap the fondant macarons for some chocolate truffles, mini cupcakes  or even decorate the cake to look like a table full of tea and goodies – anyone who has a slice would is sure to feel pretty darn hoppy!

Buttercream bunny cake

We love everything about this adorable rabbit cake from the buttercream ‘fur’ to the ears poking through! The soft color palette of ivory, pink and white makes it perfect for spring, Easter and children’s birthday cakes too. This idea is so much fun and would work great with other animal cakes too – imagine a sheep with buttercream ‘wool’ or a chick with a beak poking through its feathers? Bunny and chick cake

This bunny and chick cake is the sweetest! The hand painted spring meadow, hatched egg shells and super cute friendship between the bunny and chick are just a few of our favorite details of this cake. Adding Easter egg shaped candies in pastel colors makes this a perfect spring celebration cake – want to make one just like it? Why not add a picket fence around the meadow, a carrot patch or paint an Easter egg hunt scene on the bottom tier!

Bunny with balloon cake

Doesn’t this cute little bunny cake make you want to hop to it and create one of your very own! We love the addition of the balloon and clothing and the muted tones of the dots and stripes really keeps the focus of the handmade rabbit. Why not swap the polka dots for hand painted grass, set a picnic scene around the bunny with a blanket and basket full of sandwiches and cakes or even turn the balloon into a kite!

Peter Rabbit cake

The frame motif of thistles, leaves and florals really make the fine detail of the hand painted Peter Rabbit hop right out at you! The subtle white and blue color palette not only make this cake fresh and fit for spring, it also adds a Wedgwood feel to it. Why not customize your own rabbit themed cake by adding more frames around the circumference of the cake with Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton-Tail painted inside?
