Baby wants his mummy cake
We couldn’t keep this cake from Bluprint member maramyjo under wraps. This witty cake decorating masterpiece is sure to make baby shower guests scream with delight. The piped “Damian Wants His Mummy” at the base of the cake is the ultimate punchline that’ll make your forget every bad “bun in the oven” pun you’ve ever heard.

El tortuga birthday cake
Breaking Bad fans will appreciate this birthday cake made by Bluprint member Ideandyment in the Advanced Cake Sculpting: Bobbleheads class. The turtle-head cake pays homage to a Breaking Bad episode where a Mexican drug runner’s head is found mounted on a turtle. If that doesn’t say happy birthday, I don’t know what does.

Call of the wild Duck Dynasty beard
As Bluprint member MeMorningGlory artfully put it, this pattern “would make Phil and Willie Robertson proud.” Or maybe you have baby in your life that would like to start growing a beard the same time they grow teeth. Either way, we’re crazy about this pattern that has a basic hat pattern that’s practical, plus a beard pattern that’s practically hilarious.

Cat and Rose: fine art aboard the Titanic
We love this funny take on the infamous Titanic painting scene. Bluprint member Emily Spengler played into her cats’ almost human personalities by creating this fun acrylic painting. Maybe this painting will inspire someone in Hollywood to make a cat-style Titanic film spin-off? Dare to dream.

Mouthful of mushrooms cross-stitch
Looking through the embroidery patterns, we came across so many witty cross-stitch messages, but this one from Bluprint member Tiny Modernist stood out. The “censored” embroidered message still gets its point across in a way that’s just too playful not to share.
