Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should already know how to use a sewing machine to sew straight and curved seams plus satin stitch. You need to know how to use Bondaweb to fuse fabrics together.

Pattern Description:

I love making all things cute and cuddly. My Russian dolls were an excuse to make a set of 5 dolls, each with their own personality. I also liked the idea of making them multicultural rather than all traditional Russian faces.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 5 dolls from 30-16cm tall

Materials:

  • five 1/8ths for fabrics for doll bodies
  • fabric off cuts for faces and hair
  • 20cm Bondaweb
  • thread
  • buttons for eyes
  • permanent pen for eyes and mouth
  • 20cm ribbon
  • 1kg rice for largest doll doorstop
  • 500g toy stuffing
