Pattern Description:

These precious pillow animals are easy to make. They are fun and functional - a soft pillow for resting and an adorable toy. Your favorite little girl or boy will love carrying these sweet animals around.

Standard 12" x 16" pillow forms are used to fill the bodies of the reindeer and snowman. Or you can use polyester fiberfill to stuff animals. Sample animals are made from fleece which makes them very soft! Cotton fabrics are used for eyes and noses. There aren't any attached embellishments which makes them safe for toddlers (although, toddlers should always be watched carefully with toys). The scarf is a great size for a small child. Purchase an extra 1/4 yard of fleece and make a second scarf so a little boy or girl can match his or her pillow animal.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

The reindeer is 20" x 26" and the snowman is 20" x 23".

Fleece - 5/8 yard for snowman body, arms & legs or reindeer body, arms, legs & ears; 1/4 yard for scarf
Cotton fabric - 3" x 6" rectangle for eyes, 2" x 4" rectangle for eye pupils, 3" x 5" rectangle for snowman nose,
2" square for reindeer nose
Felt - 9" x 12" rectangle for reindeer antlers
Double sided iron-on fusible web - 8" x 6" rectangle
12" x 16" Pillow form (or use polyester fiberfill to stuff animal)
Polyester fiberfill (to stuff antlers, arms & legs)
Sewing thread
