Pattern Description:

The Plundering Pirate Ship pattern is of my own design, it comes with easy to follow instructions and step-by-step illustrations. The pattern is in PDF form. This buccaneer's ride carries plundering pirates and their stolen booty and it ferries them across the deep blue seas! Pirates, first mates, lady pirates, mermaids and treasure call this ship home.


  • White felt (sails, skull appliqu(c)): 22" x 32"
  • Black felt (flag): 4" x 8"
  • Red fabric (ship trim): 10" x 24"
  • Brown denim or faux suede (outer ship): 27" x 24"
  • Yellow denim (inner ship): 27" x 24"
  • Foam, 14" thick (inner ship layer): 36" x 41"
  • Foam, about 38" thick (mast support): 9" x 15"
  • One-sided iron-on fabric stabilizer, heavy (outer ship, inner ship,
  • Double-sided iron-on fabric stabilizer (appliqu(c)): 3" x 4"
  • Dowel rod: 14" diameter x 40"
