Pepper is one cool penguin! He's soft and cuddly and so cute in his wintry scarf and a hat. And did you know that penguins give great hugs? They certainly do!

With this PDF sewing pattern you'll get easy-to-follow instructions and step-by-step photos to make Pepper, including his adorable accessories.

To sew Pepper the Penguin you'll need:
1/4 yard of white fleece, black fleece, orange fleece, and blue fleece
Scraps of felt in white and black
White embroidery floss
Polyester stuffing

The Pepper the Penguin pattern is best suited for advanced beginner sewists. If you've sewing a stuffed animal or doll before, you're ready for Pepper.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • both the sewn and crocheted version are 10 inches tall


  • 1/4 yards of fleece in white, black, orange, and blue
  • coordinating thread
  • wool felt scraps in black and white for the eyes
  • embroidery floss in white for the eye highlight, 12 inches
  • polyfill stuffing, 8 ounces

You Will Also Need:

  • scissors for fabric
  • pins
  • chalk or a disappearing fabric marker
