Pattern Description:

This is a wonderful developmental toy - babies are stimulated by cause-and-effect of the noisemakers and can learn to zip and unzip the zipper - great for the 'object permanence' learning phase! Add crinkle, rattle and squeak noisemakers to the peas to add to the fun!

No zipper experience needed. I take you through each step, one by one, with full color photos.

Tie Dye Diva patterns always include full-sized printable patterns that are computer drafted and color coded. DIY is great, but I don't make you draft your own patterns! Take a look at the sample pages (from a different Tie Dye Diva pattern) for an example of what is included.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Finished pod approximately 15"; peas are 3.5" diameter.

Materials:

1/2 yard polyester fleece

You Will Also Need:

14" zipper, or longer. The best ones for this have large plastic teeth and a plastic pull, such as Parka or Sport zippers
Zipper foot for your sewing machine
Polyfill stuffing
Embroidery thread and needle for adding facial features
Optional craft squeaker, craft rattle or bell, cellophane or other crinkle material
