Pattern Description:

These adorable owl dolls are very easy to make. They are made from fleece (except for the beaks, eye rings and front side of the wings) which makes them soft and cuddly. They're perfect for little hands to hold. Buttons are used for the eyes on the sample dolls - if you are making the dolls for children under the age of three, you may want to embroider eye circles or sew fabric circles, using the same technique as the beaks and eye rings. This PDF e-pattern includes full size patterns, a materials list, detailed instructions written in English, and clear step-by-step photographs.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

The owls are 14" tall by 9" across with wings outspread.

Materials:

Fleece fabric - 1/4 yard for head, 1/4 yard for body & back of wings, 1/8 yard for legs
Light to medium weight cotton fabric - 1/8 yard each for eye rings, beak & front of wings
Iron-on fusible web - 1/8 yard
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Buttons with two holes - two 7/8" white for outside of eyes, two 9/16" black for eye pupils
Optional: 1" Ribbon - 1/2 yard for bow for Olivia
Sewing thread (turquoise was used for stitching on eye rings & beak, white thread was used to sew button eyes)
