Pattern Description:

My daughter loves pretend play, and I try to make any all kinds of costumes for her. This was a fun dino tail I whipped up on a Saturday afternoon. She loved it so much, I thought other preschoolers and toddlers might, too!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Toddler/Preschooler ~ 1-4 years old


  • 1/4 yd of polar fleece for tail
  • 1/4 yd of polar fleece for spikes and belt
  • 2 large scraps of polar fleece for polka dots
  • Heat N Bond Ultra
  • Polyfil stuffing
  • 1/2 yd of 1-inch non-roll elastic
  • 1 pkg of sew on Velcro

You Will Also Need:

  • chopstick for stuffing
  • thread to match
  • long needle
