Lamb Plush Toy Pattern Sewing Pattern lamb plush toy sewing pattern

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • If you can sew - you can sew a soft toy! No fancy stitches are needed - just straight lines - so it's a fun simple project!
  • I have lots of toy-making tutorials on my blog for beginners - http://www.funkyfriendsfactory.com/learn-to-sew-toys/

Pattern Description:

He's cute and cuddly and lovely to snuggle up to!

Lamkins is a simple pattern and would be easy even for a beginner. Fleece gives the best cuddliest feel but any stretch fabric should do.
Lamkins makes a lovely bedtime buddy for toddlers (and even for little babies... just use safety eyes or better still, sew French knots instead of beads for the eyes.) Lamkins also make great gifts for expectant mums. I once made a pair of lambs for a friend who was expecting twins and in true Aussie fashion, they were christened Bruce and Sheila.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished Toy Size: 9"/23cm

  • White fleece material - 38x46cm / 15 x18inch.
  • Beige fleece material - 23x37cm / 9 x141/2inch.
  • Pink fleece material - 10x13cm / 4 x5inch.

You Will Also Need:

  • 6mm black beads for eyes
  • Strong thread for sewing on eyes.
