Pattern Description:

This is the very first Funky Friends Factory pattern that was designed using NON-STRETCH fabrics... a real challenge for me - especially with such a 'buxom' creature! She would like everyone to know that any lines you may see are NOT fat rolls - they are puckers in her seams... Well, who am I to burst her bubble! I think she's really cute and cuddlesome just as she is!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Finished Toy Size: 13inches/33cm

Materials:

Tourqoise Fabric - 30x110cm wide /12x43inches wide. Contrasting Fabric - 40x20cm / 16x8inches wide.

You Will Also Need:

4mm black beads or embroidery thread for eyes/safety eyes.

Wonderful toy, thank you! April 14, 2013

I'm a quilter, so this was my first venture into toy-making. I definitely made things harder on myself with the minky fabric, but as my 2 year old said, the end result is "so huggy." I had a little difficulty with a few of the steps, but that was probably due to my unfamiliarity with toy-making. Overall the pattern is very easy to follow, even for a complete novice. It also sews up quickly, I was able to finish her in a day -- my daughter couldn't be happier with her new friend. Thank you!
