These adorable felt finger puppets can be filled with miniature candy bars and given as Halloween treats. They are stitched entirely by hand, using the whip stitch around the edges of the felt, the stem stitch for the mouths, the straight stitch for the cat face and scars on Frankenstein and his bride, and blanket stitch for the skull teeth (diagrams are included for the embroidery stitches). Instructions are included to make a vampire, Frankenstein, bride of Frankenstein, skull, candy corn, mummy, pumpkin, bat, ghost and black cat. The finished puppets are approximately 3" x 3" (puppets without ribbon arms are smaller). The puppets are made from scraps of felt, buttons and ribbons. Felt circles or pompoms can be used in place of buttons for eyes. Finger puppets are not recommended for children under the age of three.
This seven page PDF e-pattern includes full size patterns to make the Halloween creatures, a materials list, detailed instructions written in English; and clear step-by-step photos.
