Pattern Description:

The gingerbread man and snowman doll/gift holders are very easy to make! They come in two sizes. You can make either size with or without the pockets. The small doll pocket can hold candy canes, treats, money or gift cards. The large doll pocket can hold even bigger surprises. French knots are embroidered for the face and chest dots (a diagram for the French knots is included). Your favorite little boys and girls will love carrying these sweet dolls around. They are perfect for little hands to hold. The eyes are embroidered and there aren't any attached embellishments which make them safe for babies - as long as you remove the ribbon bows (although, babies should always be watched carefully with toys). Dolls are made from fleece which makes them soft and cuddly.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

The small dolls are 11" tall by 10" across with arms outspread.
The large dolls are 17" tall by 14" across with arms outspread.

Materials:

60" Fleece fabric - 3/8 yard for small doll (3/8 yd. will make two small dolls) or 1/2 yard for large doll
Optional - cotton fabric for pocket - 6" x 10" rectangle for small or large doll
Rick rack - 1 yard medium white rick rack for small doll or 1 1/2 yards jumbo white rick rack for large doll
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Ribbon - 1 yard 7/8" ribbon for small doll or 1 1/8 yard 1 1/2" ribbon for large doll
Sewing thread - white & color that coordinates with fleece
Embroidery floss or #8 perle cotton - black
