• 20" x 30" piece of iron-on fabric stabilizer, medium weight
• 20" x 30"piece of beige felt (for grocery bag)
• 7" x 14" piece of red cotton fabric (for apple)
• 13" x 12" piece of orange terry cloth (for orange)
• 6" x 7" beige tricot fabric (for potato)
• 15" x 8"piece of light green cotton fabric (for pear)
• 10" x 5"piece of red or pink cotton fabric (for strawberry)
• 10" x 11" piece of striped orange cotton fabric (for carrot)
• 25" x 14" piece of green cotton fabric (for small and large leaves and carrot tops)
• 9" x 9" piece of cream cotton fabric (for banana)
• 9" x 9" piece of yellow satin fabric (for banana)
• 9" x 9" piece of white cotton fabric (for banana)
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing (for stuffing fruits and vegetables)
• Polyester fiberfill batting (for stuffing leaves)
• Matching sewing thread (beige/brown, cream, red, yellow, orange, green, pink)
• Embroidery thread (beige, yellow, black, green)

Pattern Description:

This Groceries and Shopping Bag pattern is of my own design, it comes with instructions and easy to follow, step by step illustrations. Includes patterns for an apple, pear, potato, carrot, orange,strawberry and banana. The pattern is in PDF form.

The great thing about this toy is that is suitable for a wide range of children. Babies can pick up the soft, colorful shapes and chew on them, toddlers can learn the names and colors of the fruits and vegetables and fill the bag, dump out the contents (repeat, repeat, repeat) and older children like to play grocery store with the bag, fruits and veggies!
