Fiona is an adorable 11? fairy princess, ready to inspire hours of play time. (she can easily be made into a ballerina- just leave off the wings!) Pattern includes illustrated step by step instructions including an explanation on Button Joints which allow her arms to move for more interactive play. (a great technique that can be applied to lots of toys!)
Necessary materials include: cotton fabric (she's small enough to make from scraps from other projects!),iron on interfacing, buttons (for joints and wand), iron on interfacing, lace and ribbon for tutu and wool felt.
Intermediate sewing skills required. (I've listed her as intermediate mainly because she has more pieces than my other patterns and therefore takes a bit longer to sew. However, several of my pattern testers were beginner seamstresses and were able to complete her.)
***Fiona contains small parts and is not intended for children under 3.***
