Basic Skills Necessary:

Pattern Description:

Even the pickiest fairy would love to live in such a luxurious house! It opens up to reveal a spacious ground floor, a loft and an attic! It also has a door curtain with tie backs that can be closed for privacy and a hammock that can be hung outdoor or inside! It's surprisingly easy and fun to sew!

The pattern includes full-size patterns, step-by-step sewing instructions with colorful photos and diagrams. Legal size paper is needed for printing four of the pattern pages (or tape together paper to make sheets that measure 8.5" x 14"). Note: Instructions for making fairy dolls are not included. Finished house measures 12 inches tall x 7.5 inches wide.

A zigzag sewing machine is required for completion of this project. Moderate sewing skill suggested (not recommended for a beginner).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Fast 2 Fuse or Peltex stiff interfacing
  • 12" plastic canvas circle
  • cotton fabrics
  • 10" length of 1/8" elastic
  • 1" square sew-in Velcro
  • 4 decorative buttons with shanks (bugs or flowers)
  • 2 plain, round buttons with shanks
  • 20" length of 1/8" satin ribbon
  • thread to match fabrics
  • hand sewing needle
  • 8" string or yarn
