Pattern Description:

This European style dress fits the 18" cloth bodied American Girl Doll or other 18 inch dolls like Gotz or Madame Alexander.

The dress can be made from four fat quarters, or from scraps left over from dressmaking. The design has a square neck empire style bodice. The full, gored skirt can be left plain or finished with a ruffle which adds even more twirl factor. There is an optional apron which can be sewn in with the skirt.

The pattern has plenty of scope for customisation by mixing print and plain fabrics and adding trims. There is even room for a machine embroidery design on the apron style skirt!

All in all a dolly dress your little girl will beg you to make!

This pattern has been fully updated and includes computer drawn pattern pieces.

Note: you are buying an original PDF downloadable doll dress pattern by Genine Allan, not a finished doll dress.
