Pattern Description:

Because who doesn't want a pet dragon to call their very own? Donald is a friendly fellow - not a fire-breathing sort.

This project entails both machine and hand-sewing.

Finished dragons measure approximately 11 inches tall, 6 inches wide, and 16 inches long from nose to tip of the tail, with a wingspan of about 16 inches.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • approx. 11 inches tall
  • 6 inches wide
  • 16 inches long from nose to tip of the tail
  • wingspan of about 16 inches


  • 1/2 yard of felt or fleece in a main color
  • 1/2 yard of felt in a contrasting color
  • embroidery floss
  • 2 buttons approx. 3/4 inch
  • 1 bag of material for stuffing - Polyfil is highly recommended

You Will Also Need:

  • embroidery needles
  • dollmaking needles
  • safety eyes or buttons or felt discs for eyes
  • thread
