Pattern Description:

This elephant is cuddly and personable. The jointed legs give him so much versatility in play and helps him to sit beautifully for display!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approx. 21cm (8 in) tall.

  • 25cm main body fabric
  • 2.5 inch strip of contrast fabric (like from a quilting cotton jelly roll)
  • 4 medium sized buttons
  • stuffing
  • black embroidery thread
  • long doll needle
  • turning tool
  • regular sewing supplies, sewing machine, thread, pins, scissors, etc

You Will Also Need:

  • This pattern works best with a medium weight body fabric. Clothing weight wool, drill, cord, etc work well. Fabric amounts are for a piece the noted size across the entire width of fabric. As the pattern is in small pieces you can al so use scraps for this toy, but please make sure you have enough before starting! If you don't have a turning tool you can use a chopstick, knitting needle, pencil, etc. Be careful you do not use something too small or sharp as things like smaller sized knitting needles and scissors can poke holes in your work.
