Pattern Description:

Instructions are included to make a chick, flamingo, cockatoo, owl, parrot and penguin. The blocks are stuffed with polyester fiberfill. They are just the right size for babies and toddlers, and can be made for girls and boys. Fleece is used for the bodies and wings so the birds are very soft! Cotton fabric is used for the appliqus and feet. Ribbon is used for the feathers on the cockatoo's head. This PDF e-pattern includes: full size patterns, materials list, detailed instructions written in English, and clear step-by-step color photographs.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

The bird blocks measure 4" x 4" x 4".

Materials:

Fleece - 6" x 30" rectangle for body block on each bird, 4" x 9" rectangle for wings on each bird
Light to medium weight cotton print fabrics for feet and appliques
Double sided iron-on fusible web - 3" x 4" rectangle for each bird
3/8" Yellow grosgrain or satin ribbon - three 3 1/2" pieces for cockatoo's head feathers
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Sewing thread - black for stitching around appliqus & colors that match fabric
Embroidery floss - black for French knots on eye dots
