This Mod Dress is inspired to the Sixties, with their clean design lines, colorblocks and chromatic contrasts.
If you like the A-line tunic shape but want sew it all in one color, just use the lining pieces (front and back) twice (1 for the min fabric and one for the lining).
You can choose to refashion too, like I did. Being coloroblocked, you can easily use more than two colors/pre-loved clothes.
You'll love it because it's easy to sew and to wear, elegant but practical.
You can find a detailed tutorial on my blog and you can as always ask me if something isn't clear (SergerPepper.email@example.com)
PS: don't throw away scraps (never!): you can make an awesome infinity scarf matching, like the one I wear in the pic. Tutorial coming soon on SergerPepper, please follow me by email and you will not loose it!
I'm a mom and a seamstress (in my spare time)
I love to sew and share on my lovely blog @ SergerPepper.com
I'm a Pinterest addicted and fabric/pattern hoarder
I never throw out anything, especially fabric scraps :)
I'm a Refashionista because I love to transform pre-loved clothes in other to-be-loved clothes!
