Pattern Description:

This is a pattern for a 1940's style tap pantie and bra set, based on a vintage pattern and improved. The pantie features a v-shaped yoke with optional side lace inset panels and a placket side closure.
The bra features a bias cut bra band, optional lace cups, and ribbon straps.

This is an original design based on an image of a pattern from the 1940's. No vintage patterns were harmed in the making of this pattern.

The pattern is drafted in a size 28" waist, 34" bust, but would be very easy to size up or down.

This pattern was part of the Pauline Lingerie Sew-Along on A Few threads loose where the sewing steps were detailed out in step-by-step tutorials. You can find everything about sewing this pattern here:

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Bust 34 ins. Waist 28 ins.

Materials:

Fabric Requirements: Bra, 1/2 yd (35-39" wide) Panties 1 1/4 yd (36" wide)

Optional Contrast lace
purchased bias binding or self fabric binding
buttons or snaps for closure
1 yard ribbon for straps
