Pattern Description:

This block design was inspired by the timeless nursery rhyme, "There was an old woman who lived in a shoe." I think it would be adorable in a nursery for a child. Or perhaps it could be used on an apron, or could hang in the laundry room of a woman who feels like she has so many children that she doesn't know what to do!

When I was a little girl, I said I wanted to grow up to be a mommy and an artist. I'd like to think that I am just that! I am the mother to three wonderful children ages 3, 7 and 10. I studied art and art history, worked as a museum collections curator, and am now a SAHM who enjoys expressing my creative side through quilting, sewing and fabric printing. I find time for this "during quiet time."
