Skill Level:

little skill level requirement Novice

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • sew a seam
  • stuff an object
  • slip stitch a seam to close

Pattern Description:

At some point, you will need a tailoring ham. Stuffed animals and tennis balls will not suffice. Why buy one when you probably have all the stuff (and I do mean stuff) all around you?

The sample was made in less than an hour, with leftover canvas and a failed oven mitt project. It is full of scraps and a knitted scarf that was never going to be worn. Make it out of what you love to look at, and fill it with things that annoy you. Just make sure they won't melt under high iron steam heat.

Lemonade from lemons?

Be excellent!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 7"H x 5" W (180mm x 130mm

  • fat quarter canvas or sturdy cotton
  • fat quarter heat resistant fabric

You Will Also Need:

  • Stuffing (non melting scraps or swatches)

We can sew our way out of this! Been doing that for over forty years (my momma started me early). I am most interested in functional and efficient patterns that can be made up quickly that result in items that make life easier and are fun to use. Always up for a design challenge, I'm game for commissions. Let's make something good!
