  • how to use a sewing machine
  • how to use a walking foot
  • how to hand sew an invisible stitch

Pattern Description:

Summer is upon us, and that means it's time for sunglasses! Carry your fabulous sunnies with you in comfort and style with this easy to stitch and stylish sunglasses case.

And it's not exclusively for sunnies. You can carry your reading specs safely in this, too.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • approx. 3 1/2 x 6 inches


  • 4 fat quarters of fabrics you love
  • if you don't have fat quarters, then 1/4 yard cuts will do
  • 1/4 yard of Pellon Peltex 70 Ultra Firm Stabilizer
  • a 7 x 7 inch square of cotton batting or a big enough scrap to yield such
  • 1 magnetic snap

You Will Also Need:

  • hand sewing needle
  • thread
  • fabric marking pen/pencil/chalk
