I needed a new cover for my sleeve ironing board when I saw that it was rather worn looking. I decided to write a step-by-step photographic tutorial about how to make an ironing board cover as I was making my cover. By making your own ironing board cover, you can choose the fabric that you want to match your own decor and it will last longer than those store bought kind too.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Varies dependnig on the size of your ironing board.

Materials:

  • Insul-Bright batting, home decor, canvas, duck or similar type fabric...amounts will vary depending on the size of your ironing board.

You Will Also Need:

  • Thread, safety pin, string, wide double fold bias tape (amount will vary depending on the size of your ironing board.
