Basic Skills Necessary:

Pattern Description:

Use this pattern to make reusable grocery bags that are much more durable than the ones usually available for purchase. I designed my bags to be as sturdy as possible and easy to make. This version of my bag is designed for using up fabric strips of various widths left from quilting projects. The diagonal strips make very eye catching bags, that are only slightly more difficult to make than my original Basic Sturdy Grocery Tote Bag. The bags I have made are sturdy enough to fill with heavy items, and are machine washable, too.

This pattern includes seventeen pages of detailed instructions with over 50 photos of the process to guide you in creating your bags. Beginners with basic sewing skills to advanced sewers can create unique bags.
