Pattern Description:

The pea pod and carrot bibs are very easy to make. The bibs are embellished with rick rack (top of carrot bib), bias tape (ties and around the neck) and fabric yo-yos (peas). Instructions are included for making the yo-yos.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The pea pod bib measures 7" wide by 9" in length. The carrot bib measures 7 1/2" wide by 9" in length. The length of both bibs is 7 1/2" under the neck.


  • Light/medium weight cotton solid or print fabrics - 1/4 yard orange for carrot, 1/4 yard green for bib top
  • Fusible fleece or cotton batting - one 9" x 11" rectangle
  • Extra wide double fold bias tape - 1 yard lime green
  • Jumbo or medium rick rack - 1/2 yard bright/dark green
  • Sewing thread - Coordinating color
