NEW!!!
When browsing around our dollar store a few months ago, we came across adorable mini composition notebooks. They are just like the kind kids use in school, but A MINATURE VERSION! With 3 for a buck and an overflowing scrap bin, we decided they needed a cute fabric cover. Hence the birth of the Mini Composition Notebook Cover pattern!
This project is really easy and addicting to make! We put it on our "Easy" list at camp this past summer. The kids loved making them!!! As long as you can sew straight lines and respect a seam allowance, you should have no problem making these for yourself, friends and/or family. You only need scrap fabrics, a button and the notebook to complete this adorable, yet practical and useful treasure.
All our patterns are written by a sewing teacher who specializes in teaching kids to sew and are used over & over again in sewing class. This pattern is perfect for the young beginner to use by themselves as well as for adults.
When in a closed position, each measure 5 1/4" tall by 3 1/4" wide. Yep, it's mini!

Hi,
My name is Karen and I teach kids to sew. My in-home sewing school is a busy one filled with adorable children of all ages and abilitites. One never tires of the smiles and joy experienced when a student finishes a project they sewed on their own. Such a rewarding job!
One challenge I face is finding patterns written in lingo kids can follow. So, I developed Little Stitchers' Pattern Co. to solve our problem. When I'm not teaching, I'm designing and writing patterns we can use in class. They are loaded with color photographs, detailed step-by-step instructions and pattern pieces. Each pattern is kid-tested and stamp approved.
Thanks for continuing to read this & hope you enjoy our patterns!
