My mom always was sewing and baking when I was a kids, so I grew up with it. She didn't really get around to teaching me any of her skills, so I ended up teaching myself and often having to call her to find out what I am doing wrong. Now I am interested in taking classes to expand on my skills and become more proficient.View all patterns by designer (1) »
I never really liked the covers that you could buy for your nursing pillow and they can get expensive. It is so easy to make one out of any cotton fabric you find. You can even use other fabrics that are washable (you are going to be washing this). You can even add frills to your pillow, like sewing lace or ribbon into the seams (directions on how to do that are not included). You can mix and match fabrics and come up with your own unique design. You could even use this pattern to make your own pillow by just using the FRONT piece for the back as well and stuffing it. The possibilities are endless.
This pillow took me 2 hours from cutting to completion to make. It may take longer on your first time.
