These shoes are soft and sweet! They keep their shape very well. The same pattern is used for the tops and soles of shoes with monkey faces or plain shoes without monkey faces.
They are easy to make - even for beginners! Wool felt was used for the lining of the sample shoes. Cotton fabric was used for the outside. You can also use denim, linen, ultra suede, etc. Shoes have Velcro closures.
This eleven page PDF e-pattern includes full size patterns, a materials list, instructions written in English, and step-by-step color photographs. Optional instructions are given to put a non-skid sole on shoes for babies that are walking.
