Pattern Description:
Because bees are associated with quilting and sewing, I designed this little bee pin cushion as a useful, but cute, sewing room notion. She is perfect for gift giving and even comes with a little verse just for that purpose.
Alternatively, the little bee can be made as a ladybug! Her verse is also included.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- approximately 3" high
Materials:
- 1 square yellow fabric, 3 1/2"
- 1 square black/white striped fabric, 3 1/2"
- 1 square yellow 2" for head
- piece of black craft felt
- ribbon, black/white for wings
- yellow button
- silk flower
- 2 small black beads for eyes
- snippet of cording or stiffened embroidery floss for antennae
- pin cushion filler
You Will Also Need:
- glue (to adhere feet) if not sewing
