You will be adding a zipper but don't be afraid because it is easier than you think.

Pattern Description:

You will just love this bag. It is the perfect size for your Kindle, Nook, or eReader. It has a front pocket to store your cords, lights, or ear buds. The batting protects your device but allows you to have everything you need at your fingertips and oh, so cute.

I have a Kindle and my daughter has the color Nook (which is a little bigger than the Kindle). Both fit just right. My friend uses her when she travels and put a handle on it. Most people I've talked to didn't want the handle so I did not make the pattern with it, but it would be easy enough to add.

The zippers are very easy to sew into the bag so if this is your first project with a zipper go for it - you will amaze yourself.

Grab your favorite fat quarter, some lining fabric and get started. In a short time you'll have a great bag to protect your Kindle or Nook.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Fits a Kindle, Nook or other eReader
7 1/2" Wide x 10" Tall

Materials:

1 Fat Quarter for the outside of the bag
1/2 yard for lining of the bag
Thread that matches
Batting
2 zippers at least 12" long
