The giraffe and gator bibs are very easy to make. They can be made for girls and boys. They are great for babies and toddlers. The bibs will wash and wear well.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Each bib measures 7" wide (that doesn't include the ears on the sides of the giraffe bib). The length is 11 1/4" from the top of the bib to the bottom (the length of the bib is 6 3/4" under the neck).

Materials:

Fabric rectangles are a guideline -They don't need to be precise amounts.
Light to medium weight cotton print fabric - 9" x 9" rectangle for top of animal's head,
9" x 9" rectangle for bottom of animal's head, 9" x 13" rectangle for back of bib,
5" x 6" rectangle for eye shapes, 6" x 6" square for giraffe ears (fabric colors will depend upon animal you are making - shades of green for gator or orange & yellow for giraffe)
Fusible fleece - 1/4 yard
Buttons with two holes - two 7/16" black buttons & two 3/4" white buttons for eyes
two 7/8" to 1" buttons for nostrils
Jumbo rick rack - 1 yard yellow for gator's teeth
5/8" Snap set
Sewing thread
