This tutorial and pattern came into being becauseI needed a new apron. Aprons should be fun. They are so easy to sew, and every time I make a new one, I design something different. My friends loved my newest creation and begged me to make a pattern, so I did.
No enlargement of pattern pieces is needed, but make sure to set your printer at 100% (no margins added in printing) so your printed copies will be the exact size.
You will then have only to trim edges and tape the printed pages together to make a full size pattern. The sewing is quite easy and I've included lots of photos.

Since retiring from my teaching career I've discovered that there is life outside of the classroom! I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes, so even if they look complicated, the instructions should be easy to follow.
