Skill Level:

little skill level requirement Novice

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Sew a straight line and cut accurately.

Pattern Description:

Learn how to sew a Clear-View Crochet Hook Case to contain your hooks and crochet tools and yet easily see hook sizes. This tutorial includes step by step directions to sew a vinyl and canvas case, including full cutting dimensions so there's no guess work!

This a great case for keeping your crochet hooks and tools secure in one place. I love the ease at which I can see the size of each hook, and that they no longer fall out and into the bottom of my project basket. This case can easily be adapted to hold more hooks, or made taller for knitting needles.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 12" x 11" when open

  • Clear 16 Gauge Vinyl: 12" x 5"
  • Duck Cloth/Heavy Canvas: 12" x 11"
  • Light-weight Accent Fabric: 6.5" x 4.5"

You Will Also Need:

  • 1/2" Double Fold Bias Tape, approx. 2 1/2 yds.
  • 1/4" Elastic, approx. 7 1/2" long.
  • Coordinating Thread and Heavy Duty Needle
