Pattern Description:

This is a PDF downloadable sewing e-pattern. This is not a finished apron.

This precious apron is so pretty and easy to make! It can be made in several styles - with a pocket, ruffled skirt or crayon pocket. It can also be made as a half or full apron. The apron is made from fabric rectangles with a ribbon neck strap, waistband and ties. Bias tape is sewn around the pocket (detailed instructions are included for sewing the bias tape). Medium weight cotton fabrics were used for the sample aprons.

This nine page PDF e-pattern includes measurements for apron rectangles, pattern for pocket, detailed materials list, clear instructions written in English and step-by-step photographs.

You can sell finished items made from this pattern in limited quantities. No mass production is allowed.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Instructions are included to make the apron in three sizes - 3/4, 5/6, & 7/8


  • 44/45" Cotton solid or print fabrics - 3/8 yard for apron bib & skirt,
  • 1/8 yard for bands at top & bottom of apron, 3/8 yard for lining
  • 1/4 yard for small pocket & fabric bow
  • 1/4 yard for ruffled top skirt
  • two 9" contrasting squares for crayon pocket
  • 1" Ribbon - 3 yards
  • Medium rick rack - 1 yard
  • Narrow double fold bias tape - 1/2 yard
  • Buttons - one 3/4" & one 1/2"
  • Sewing Thread, Crayons
  • Bias Tape and Rick Rack (optional)

  • Sewing Machine, Scissors, Ruler
