Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Use a sewing machine

Pattern Description:

When you have a kid who is learning to use the potty, accidents are inevitable. For my kids, I threw out all diapers/training pants and went to underwear only. This led to many pee accidents. So, to keep from having to constantly wash the kids' car seat padding all the time (a risky endeavor in itself), I designed this car seat cover to contain the accidents.

Even if you don't go the route I did with tossing all the diapers, this cover can still come in handy for long car trips, or even just avoiding spills in the car.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • approx. 12.5" X 21"

Materials:

  • Fleece fabric (less than 0.5 yd)
  • Cloth Diaper insert (10.5" X 15")
  • Waterproof fabric lining

You Will Also Need:

  • Rotary cutter and mat (or scissors)
  • Sewing machine and matching thread
