I have always enjoyed the large bandana scarves and wanted to make something from them.
The designs in the scarf had changed a bit over the years and the colors went from the basic blue and reds to everything imaginable.
I was especially drawn to the black and white scarf and decided to try to incorporate the bandana into a chic apron.
Since I was keen on keeping things simpler for the beginning seamstress this seemed like a perfect project and turned out even better than I had hoped for.
I was very happy with the finished apron and the simplistic yet chic look.
A win win pattern for the beginning seamstress and a great looking finished piece to keep for yourself.
Creativity has always been a part of my life.
For me the focus was always on functional crafts or projects.
I like my craft projects to be useful, to have a reason for being.
I prefer that even the most basic items we enjoy in our daily lives are
fun and attractive or both.
