City biking is my way of living and man I love it a lot; so here is a little bike bag pattern, as saddle bag with one bigger top bag for extra storage. Really my bike is small and foldable I even did go with it on a bus. But my silver bike needed a storage because I like to be free and if possible not to have backpack on my shoulder; and I needed a storage for going to the library or for shoppinggood storage is always good to have. So this is my new design for this summer.
Just a few basic stuff I need to tell you:
The saddle bag is made from two the same size bags, on one side I did place a big pocket and on other I didn(tm)t, but you could play with pattern and decide if you need pockets or not. This saddle bags have handles, so you could take it easily off your bike and go to a grocery store, library or your home.
Then there is the third big bag, and this one is huge, but you could fill it just a little or full, it depend what you need.
Both bags are assembled with two zippersbut look on my blog for more pictures.
Just in case if you want to know; yes you could use this bag for bigger bike, look the picture with the model for proportions.
PS this pattern will be one of my annual pattern subscription for 2014; just one more option for you.
And if you want to see more photos please go to my blog post about this adventures saddle bag.
The biking session is out and the summer too, so off I go. Now you could go on your biking adventurers too, or whatever adventures you plan for this summer. Enjoy and have fun.
As always the pattern is downloadable, so you could start playing with your fabric stash right away. Enjoy.

As a kid I want to do everything by myself....and I still live like this, except, now I want to play also with others and I love to show and teach how to play with fabric, so I did start to work on sewing step by step tutorials with my own patterns.
Will you play with me? Come, the fun is starting...
