With a few key fabric scraps from your fabric stash and a couple of minor notions you can make a simple fabric case for your iPhone in one hour or less.
The case features a pocket to store your headphones and your id, or a stack of business cards. The button tab closure keeps everything safe and secure while giving way to a headphone jack. An optional D-ring offers a spot to hang a hey or two when you need to make a quick, no-nonsense escape.
Padding is minimal, but this version allows a phone with a hardcover and will accommodate iPhone 4's or smaller.
Note: This sewing pattern is for personal use only. If you intend to make and donate a project for charity - by all means do.

An inspiring Grandmother and an ever supportive mother kept my hands occupied with pencils, paints and other crafty bits at an early age. These days, with two girls of my own, I find sewing for them completely irresistible. So I owe my reignited obsession to them. Email: laura[at]charmstitch[dot]com.
