Pattern Description:
This project appeared in the March/April 2013 issues of Create & Decorate Magazine! It is a charming decoration for any table and is simple to make.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- The finished candle mat measures approximately 12" at its widest point.
Materials:
- One fat quarter felted brown wool.
- One fat eighth felted green wool.
- One fat eighth felted natural wool.
- Four 4"x4" squares brown plaid cotton homespun fabric.
- Clover Quick Yo-Yo Maker--Large.
You Will Also Need:
- All-purpose sewing or quilting thread to match your cotton fabric.
- Embroidery floss in colors matching or complementing the brown and green wools.
- Large-eyed chenille needle, straight pins, scissors, freezer paper, pen or pencil, iron and pressing cloth.
