Pattern Description:

The Ladybug Convertible Apron is wonderful for hosting big parties or family get togethers. Simply cook, clean and organize your party with the Ladybug Full Apron on. When the guests start to arrive unbutton the Apron Bib off and convert your apron into the Ladybug Half Apron. Show off your party dress with style! This pattern is easy to make and written so you can choose what works best for you. You can follow the bias binding tutorial within the pattern, if you want a trim around the edge. Enjoy using your serger, follow the the serge instructions to make your apron super fast! If a standard sewing machine is your tool, a third set of directions is available for making the Ladybug Convertible Apron all within the same pattern. The Patchwork Apron bib is written for 3 sizes Large, Medium and Small for a comfortable fit.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Half Apron- 23"wide X 20" high

Materials:

  • Fabric A 1/2 yard for the two panels in the skirt
  • Fabric B 1/2 yard for the pocket, center pleat panel
  • Fabric C 1/2 yard for apron ties
  • Lightweight Interfacing 1/4 yard to make the center of the apron sturdier. (only if making the full apron bib)
