Pattern Description:

My tutorial will show you how to make traditional, stitched, double sided Flag Bunting/party banner that will last for years. Create an heirloom that comes out at every family occasion!

It's quick and easy to add a touch of English Country charm to your party.

Suitable for a beginner. This tutorial is 16 pages long with full instructions, close up photographs of every step with simle text and a template for you to print, cut out and use (full size)

Creat the perfect finishing touch for a wedding marquee, use pure white cotton fabric or colours that coordinate with the wedding theme. Line the aisle or surround the gardens.

This method is ideal for recycling vintage fabrics, offcuts and remants from your fabric collections. You can mix and match plain coloured fabrics, flowers with stripes and dots or go for pastel coloured cotton... the possiblilties are endless and each time they look completely different.

  • 2.5cm (1") wide cotton bias binding the length of your finished bunting plus 1metre (39") for the ties.
  • Cotton fabric remnants in co-ordinating designs. As a general rule we use 5 triangles per metre of tape. If your fabric measures a standard 115cms (45") wide you can get approximately 7 completed (double sided) triangles out of 1/4m (10")
