You can easily have a set of mug rugs (coasters) made over a few evenings a week, enjoying a bit of peaceful sewing in front of the tv, or anywhere you fancy - it's the ultimate portable project that fits in your bag without a fuss!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 4.75"

Materials:

  • Small fabric scraps to cover 1 leaf and 3 circle templates (about 6" square in total)
  • 1 piece cotton fabric 12" x 6" (for top and bottom fabrics)
  • 1 piece of cotton batting 5.5" square
  • Matching sewing and hand quilting thread
  • Sewing needles (I prefer Crewels)
  • Scissors or rotary cutter and mat
  • Pencil/tailor's chalk
  • Dress-making pins
  • Sewing machine with straight stitch
