Pattern Description:

This Lilly*Blossom PDF sewing guide will show you how to make my mini tied cushions that link together with pretty bows to spell out a name or word.

You can spell out the name of a little girl to make a wonderful original gift or maybe the word 'HOME' or 'LOVE' for a teenage room.

The sewing guide is suitable for beginners and can quickly and easily be made using my step-by-step easy to follow instructions. I have included lots of close up photographs and full size templates to help you complete this project.

Any cotton fabric can be used including vintage linens, soft gingham and even outgrown baby dresses, the perfect way to use up your fabric collection and create an heirloom you can be proud of.

The mini cushions are filled with polyester soft toy stuffing and each one measures approximately 18 x 21 cms (7 x 81/2") when finished.

The sewing guide has measurements in both cms and inches to suit both US and European buyers.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

each mini cushion measures approximately 19cm x 21cm (8 x 9")

Materials:

2 pieces of cotton fabric in your chosen colour measuring 20 x 23 cms (8 x 9")each
A small piece of contrasting cotton fabric measuring 15cm x 10cm (6 x 4") for the letter
Matching thread
Small amount of polyester soft toy stuffing.
Small piece of double sided interfacing 15cm x 10cm (6 x 4") to attach the appliqu letter.
20 x 30cm (8 x 12") piece of plain cotton fabric for two ties (end cushion) or 40 x 30cm (16 x 12") for four ties (middle cushion)
NOTE: if you prefer you can tie the cushions together with ribbon rather than make fabric ties, you will need to purchase 3 cm (2") wide ribbons, 30cm (12") long for each tie.
