Pattern Description:

With this pattern, you will create an adorable 4" Sandman doll that will ride upon a moonbeam into your child's bedroom to scatter the magical stardust of pleasant dreams and a good night's sleep.

The pattern includes list of all supplies, full-size patterns, and comprehensive instructions with photographs and diagrams to make it quick and easy. The completed mobile measures about 12" from the top star bead to the bottom of the crystal star ornament and is 41/2" wide. The sewing is easy and the results are simply delightful!

Skill Level: Beginner.

Finished mobile for ages 4 and older.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Finished doll is 4" tall.
Mobile hangs about 12" and is 4.5" wide.

Materials:

2 pipe cleaners
4" wire ring (in macrame section of craft store)
16 mm wooden bead for head
2 (8mm) wooden beads for hands
4" x 5" skintone knit fabric for head & hands (doll skin knit)
3" piece of wool roving for hair (yarn or any doll hair from craft store)
felt scraps for clothing
Wool stuffing (polyester or cotton batting can be substituted)
6-strand Embroidery floss in colors to match felt
25 crystal clear seed beads
1 star glass ornament (or any hanging crystal of your choice)
1 (1/2") pearl or star bead
3 (1/4") pearls or star beads
11/2 yds. clear fishing line (or monofilament thread)

You Will Also Need:

36" piece of heavy-duty crafting thread (or white dental floss)
tacky glue
2 sewing needles: 1 embroidery, 1 thin enough to pass through beads
