Pattern Description:
When the kids were little, every year we would string popcorn and cranberries on the tree and I loved the warm look of it. Now that they are busy with activities in their free time, I chose to replace the popcorn garland with something permanent that gives that same warmth. My daughter and I made ours together. She and I will always have that memory and the garland to remind us.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 8 yards of Garland that is about 1.25" wide
Materials:
- 1/3 yard red felt 72" wide
- 1/4 yard white felt 72" wide
- 432 gold pony beads
- 10 yards of 1/8" wide ribbon or strong monofiliment (like fishing line)
You Will Also Need:
- cutting mat, ruler and rotary blade
- doll making needle - 3" long and sharp with a big eye
- a rubber gripper
- 1.75" long straight pins
