Pattern Description:

I first came up with this idea during the Christmas season. I wanted a place to stash recipes that I plan to make for the holidays. Since making that first one about 15 years ago, I've found many other uses for them too. The one in my kitchen contains recipes and coupons. I also have on in my sewing room where I stash various clippings and notes.

I chose to hand embroider the appliques on (complete stitch instructions included) but you can machine applique or even go around with 3 dimensional paint.

Fusible fleece is used for stability and it is so easy to work with.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Each item measures 9" x 11"

Materials:

fabrics & fabric scraps (see pattern for amounts)
fusible fleece
buttons
heat n bond lite (fusible webbing)
